Cape May Warbler, Female Yellow Warbler On Nest, & Canada Warbler

Magee Marsh
Neil writes
I know of no better place in US to see warblers than Magee Marsh. It is located on the southern shore of Lake Erie, near Toledo Ohio. This is the last rest stop for warblers and other neotropical migrants before finishing their migration to Canada. Thousands of birders also migrate there during the second and third weeks of May every year to get close up views of these beautiful and remarkable birds. No wonder is has become known as “Warblerstock”.

Neil Ellis Photos: Neil is a great friend who plays a respectable round of golf, identifies unseen birds by their calls, completes the New York Times Friday Crossword in ink, and takes a heck of a photo. His photos are featured here at AllanShowalter.com and can be found collected at Neil Ellis Photos.
Wonderful photography Thanking you.
