As is evident by the above photo, we experienced what passes for snowfall here in the Mid-Atlantic states.  As this storm began, we received notice from our homeowner association that the sidewalks and walkways would be cleared of the white stuff by a local lawn care/snow removal firm. 

Yesterday, we received a second email informing us that said lawn care/snow removal firm wouldn’t be able to perform this task at that time. It seems the roads were too snow-covered for them to travel to our location.
