Prior to the 2012 Bergen concert, the press discovered Leonard Cohen chowing down on an ice cream cone in the company of Sharon Robinson & Roscoe Beck and captured the scene in these photos.

The resulting article, Sist jeg var her var i 1865 by Ørjan Nilsson (BA: Aug 27, 2012) also reported that the Canadian singer-songwriter had purchased a hot dog earlier and this interaction [via Google Translate]:

Reporter: You’ve been here before. Do you remember anything of Bergen concerts in 1988?
Leonard Cohen: I think it was in 1865, just after the Civil War
