This entertaining and informative Leonard Cohen interview (commentary & subtitles in French. Cohen’s verbal responses in English) takes place following the completion of his The Future album and includes portions of his songs as well as video clips of Leonard driving, working in his home studio, preparing food and drink in his kitchen, and singing an alternative version of Anthem while accompanying himself on keyboard. While the discussion touches on a number of topics, the focus is on songwriting, especially the multiple revisions each of his songs undergoes before being pronounced ready for release.
