Back Lawn Walk-bys

Reviewing old posts, I came upon these 2008 1HeckOfAGuy.com photos taken in Bull Valley, IL, that merited, I thought, reposting.

Although this is the first time I’ve seen this fawn, its evident familiarity with my back lawn leads me to suspect that this is not a first visit.

I didn’t see our resident wild turkey until she was almost into the woods perhaps 30 yards from my office where I was working. I only had time to snap this quick shot before she darted behind the oak.
