“I was suddenly taken seriously as a poet, when all I was really was a kind of stud – not a very successful one either” Leonard Cohen

quoteup2
I must have looked extremely absurd because I wrote all my poems to ladies thinking that was the way to approach them. Anyway, for some reason or other, I put them all together in a book and I was suddenly taken seriously as a poet, when all I was really was a kind of stud – not a very successful one either, because the successful ones don’t have to write poems to make girls.
