Is The 2014 Habs Vs Bruins Montage Featuring Leonard Cohen’s “Dance Me To The End Of Love” The Best Hockey Video Ever?

Well, Sure It Is – That’s What Happens When A Video Unites Two Canadian Institutions, The Montreal Canadiens & Leonard Cohen

The editor of CBC, Tim Thompson, continued his excellent work on Tuesday before the 3rd game of the series between the Canadiens and the Bruins. Thompson gave us another historical mounting rivalry between Boston and Montreal, but he did superbly with an original musical choice.

Indeed, instead of fast tempo songs to which we are accustomed, Thompson opted for “Dance Me To The End Of Love” by Leonard Cohen. The joint is really nice to see.1

Leonard’s music was also featured in another Tim Thompson hockey montage. For that story, see Leonard Cohen’s “You Got Me Singing” Featured In Video Tribute To Hockey Great Jean Béliveau.
