Julie Showalter FAQ

After receiving many questions about the stories Julie wrote and my narrative about how Julie & I fell in love, I’ve composed this FAQ:

FAQ: The Story Of Julie and Me

Q: What is Julie’s Story?
A: Julie Showalter was the fiercely intelligent, extraordinarily sexy, and loving woman with whom I had a outrageously wonderful marriage that ended with her death in late 1999 from cancer diagnosed the week of our wedding nearly 20 years earlier.  She was also a brilliant scholar, the mother of our two sons, and a prize-winning author.  How our relationship came to be and then evolved was, like Julie, complicated, intriguing, and romantic – and unlikely. When I started writing this blog, I thought that presenting that story via occasional postings might interest some friends and family who knew part but not all of the story. It turned out to be of general interest, which accounts for this FAQ.

Q: If the Julie Story consists of sporadic postings, how do I find those portions already posted?
A: The first installment is This Is How A Love Story Began. At the end of each installment (except the first) is a link to the previous installment and (except for the final installment) a link to the next installment.

All Julie’s Stories posts are listed in the category – Julie’s Story.  Unfortunately, the blogging software lists such posts in chronological order with the most recent post at the top of the list.
